The Kennesaw State men and women's track and field teams began preparing for another championship run as they had their first practice of the 2014-15 season on Saturday, October 11.

The Kennesaw State track and field team once again used their Saturday to volunteer in the community. This time, it was with Hands on Atlanta working at Parklane Elementary School.

The Kennesaw State women's track and field team volunteered at East Atlanta's 10th annual Brownwood Bike Rally last Saturday, September 6th.

Duane Morris, the throws coach for the Kennesaw State track and field team, has been promoted to Assistant Head Coach, Director of Track and Field Andy Eggerth announced.

The Kennesaw State women's track and field team was named a USTFCCCA 2014 Division I All-Academic Team for carrying a 3.13 GPA through the 2013-14 academic year.

Brittney Reed and Shannon Christian have been named to the A-Sun Student Advisory Committee for the 2014-15 academic year, the conference announced on Wednesday, August 6.
