Kennesaw State juniors Kidan Kidane and Shakedra Robinson swept the Atlantic Sun Indoor Track and Field weekly awards following their performances at the BSC Panther Icebreaker the conference announced Wednesday.

The Kennesaw State men's and women's track teams got the indoor season off to a fast start at the Panther Icebreaker at the Birmingham Crossplex.

To start the 2016 indoor track and field season, the Kennesaw State track and field team's will be traveling to Birmingham, Alabama to compete in the BSC Panther Icebreaker at the Birmingham Crossplex for the second year in a row.

The Kennesaw State track and field programs added the final two signees to their 2016 early signing class. Pole vaulter Rachel Sherrill and combined eventer Jessica Watkins will join the Owls women's track team in the fall of 2016.
